Trusted across care services
Certa is built by CACI, a technology business with over 25 years’ experience developing care management systems for some of the UK’s most complex care operations. Our platform is trusted by a growing number of care providers across the country, from large local authority-commissioned services to independent care businesses.
Delivered as a fully managed, cloud based service, you get the depth and reliability of an enterprise system without the overhead. CACI handles availability, updates and ongoing support, so you can start quickly and scale confidently as services grow and change.
Certa is priced and configured to grow with your service. Subscription pricing is straightforward and predictable, with implementation scaled to reflect the size, complexity and options of your service.

Built for how care actually runs
At the heart of Certa is deep operational know-how, honed by years of sector experience. That experience shapes every part of the platform, from how visits are managed and mobile teams coordinated, to how care is evidenced and services are kept running when plans change in real time.
Certa’s approach is person-led and responsive. Care plans are dynamic, built around individual needs, risks and preferences, and updated as circumstances change. Every plan is supported by structured assessments and outcome tracking, giving coordinators and managers confidence that quality is maintained across every client.
Care workers are supported through our Intouch app, which gives them the information, prompts and guardrails they need to deliver excellent care in people’s homes – even when connectivity drops.
Where Certa stands out
Certa combines areas that are often ineffective or disconnected in other systems:
- Rostering you can trust – visit led scheduling built on decades of real care experience, with rule based matching. BestFit, our intelligent automated scheduling engine, matches the right worker to the right client based on a rich set of configurable criteria – skills, care continuity, geography, travel time and extensive compliance rules – taking the manual effort out of even the most complex rosters.
- Real time operational assurance – know what’s happening now, which visits are at risk, and where to intervene
- End to end integrity – from care delivery to timesheets, pay and funder billing, with traceable data throughout
- Scaling without friction – proven in complex organisations, designed for fast start and day to day use

Coming in Summer 2026
Certa is developing its first AI capabilities designed specifically for the realities of community care.
The first features are planned for release in summer 2026.
AI care notes
Documentation is one of the biggest drains on care workers’ time. Certa’s AI Care Notes feature will assist support workers in capturing care records more quickly and accurately, while also helping back-office staff keep assessments and care plans current through AI-assisted transcription and form completion.
Less time on paperwork. More time on care. Without cutting corners on the record that matters.
Continuous quality and compliance insight
CQC has moved decisively toward ongoing assessment rather than episodic inspection. Certa’s compliance AI feature is being built around that shift. It interprets operational evidence already held in Certa – care records, medication data, staffing, incidents – and surfaces a continuously updated picture of where a service is performing well and where risks are emerging. When you run well every day, inspection confidence follows naturally.
Both features are being developed on a secure, managed infrastructure with appropriate safeguards, so the AI assists your team’s judgement rather than replacing it. Interested in seeing where Certa is heading? Talk to our team.

FAQs
Frequently asked questions about Certa.
Certa is built for care providers delivering community-based services – from single-location domiciliary businesses to complex, multi-service organisations. Whether you are local authority commissioned, NHS-funded, privately funded, or a mix, Certa has the flexibility and depth to support how you operate.
Yes. Certa is delivered as a managed service on Amazon Web Services (AWS), hosted in UK regions. AWS is the same infrastructure used by the NHS and many of the UK’s largest organisations. CACI handles security, maintenance and updates, so there is nothing for your team to install or manage.
Onboarding is one of Certa’s real strengths. Our structured implementation called FUSION is a process phased to fit around your team – from initial data import and configuration through to coordinator training and go-live. Many providers move from setup to live use within weeks, and our service desk is on hand throughout and beyond. We do not hand you a system and walk away.
Care planning, rostering & visits, care worker app (Intouch), eMAR & tasks, time/pay/billing, reporting & dashboards, and support & compliance. The family and client portal is available as an optional addition. All modules are included in a single subscription – there are no hidden add-on costs for the core platform.
Digital records, visit verification and SAF-aligned reporting make it straightforward to evidence quality and respond confidently to inspectors. Because records are built through everyday use of the system, your evidence is already there when you need it.
Yes. Encryption in transit and at rest, role‑based access, audit logging and segregation of customer data. CACI is certified to ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus.
The system is designed for fast, secure, and flexible deployment with strong accessibility and integration capabilities:
– Fast start: You can quickly import staff and client data, configure repeating visit plans and rules, and provide training for coordinators and care workers to get up and running rapidly.
– Accessible: It meets WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards, supports multiple languages (including Welsh), and works across common devices.
– Open: A public API enables integration with other systems, alongside flexible reporting options with exports to Excel and CSV, plus support for third‑party query tools.
– Secure by design: The solution is delivered as a managed SaaS on AWS (UK), designed for 99.9% availability, with modern monitoring, role‑based access controls, and strict segregation of customer data. CACI is ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus certified.
