CACI levels up to ERS silver award for commitment as a defence employer
We’re proud to announce that we have achieved a silver award in the 2021 Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS).
ERS is a UK government award programme designed to encourage employers (particularly those in the private sector) to support defence and inspire others to do the same.
As a silver award-holder, CACI is recognised for being armed-forces friendly, with a positive policy on employing reservists, veterans, cadet instructors and military spouses and partners.
Beverley Heath, Chief of Staff at CACI, says: “We’re proud to have moved up from a bronze to a silver award level this year, by increasing our active support and advocacy for services colleagues within CACI.
“We value the transferrable skills that people with a military career background bring to the private sector. Our team delivers leading specialist solutions to many Defence organisations, so we’re highly aware of the diverse talent and capability in the sector. It’s a privilege to work with people from this background both as clients and colleagues.”
The Armed Forces Covenant shows employers’ support for the armed forces community. CACI has signed this pledge to be flexible to the unique situations of the wider armed forces community, including spouses, partners, volunteers and reservists, ensuring their fair treatment in recruitment processes and in the workplace.
We provide a range of specialist software, technology, cybersecurity, data and digital transformation services to the Ministry of Defence and to related organisations. Our team’s in-depth defence domain knowledge is enhanced by the contribution of talented armed forces community colleagues.
“I am so pleased that your hard work and commitment to the Defence Partnership has paid off and been recognised in this way,” said Gill Niblock, Regional Employer Engagement Director at the Ministry of Defence.
