About the role

A vacancy exists for a Consultant within CACI’s Data Depot team, based in our West London offices in Kensington Village, near Olympia.

We are the market leaders in customer and location analytics. We supply a wide range of data to help clients with their data science and data analytics requirements. We help them learn more about their customers, and advise and support them to identify new customers, new locations for expansion and to help measure the performance of their business.

CACI’s Data Depot team specialise in providing quick, easy and cost effective consumer data and demographic solutions. We serve both the commercial and public sector and clients range from SME’s through to recognisable household names. This role will be specifically working with Emergency Services and Universities as part of our Public-Sector division, taken over several current clients and warm leads.

CACI’s data is used within the Public Sector to justify and inform key business decisions including: community engagement, proactive awareness campaigns, recruitment, and retention, hitting government requirements as well as transformation planning and future proofing budget decisions.

The role offers an excellent opportunity to further develop consultancy sales skills alongside the opportunity to embark on a long term career in a professional organisation.

The essential functions of the job include all aspects of the sales process, including:

  • New business development via telephone, email and LinkedIn to create a pipeline of business
  • Successfully meet a monthly sales quota by securing sales from both new business (majority) and account management / growth (minority)
  • Consistently meet KPI’s surrounding outbound call activity, quotations, conversions and other lead sourcing activities
  • Take ownership of managing, reporting on and improving their own sales performance including devising and implementing sales plans
  • Drive growth within their market, contribute to proposition development and participate in the creation of sales and marketing messages
  • Negotiate and close business to exceed sales targets.

Key requirements

  • A ‘hunter’ with a proven ability to proactively generate new business
  • Self-starter, self-disciplined, patient and results driven
  • A very good communicator, who is outgoing and confident
  • A keen interest in the Public Sector and its key challenges
  • The ability to source leads and expand the sector using their own initiative
  • A demonstrable track record of high sales performance
  • The ability to absorb complex solutions and present them with simplicity; understand technical information and think laterally to deliver a variety of solutions
  • Excellent relationship building and proactive problem-solving skills
  • Able to manage and support client organisations at all levels
  • A real attention to detail
  • Have a minimum 6 months sales experience and be able to demonstrate a proven track record of hitting target consistently
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • IT Literate (MS Office).

We offer a competitive basic salary and an excellent uncapped commission structure. Salespeople often hit 150% of their sales target and regularly achieve commission of 7% of net sales. The package also includes:
