As a UX Consultant, you will work closely with our clients in the UK Government and Defence sector to create the best app experience possible for their target audience

Due to the industries we work in, we require all our team to be able to obtain security clearance. To qualify for this, you must be a British passport holder and have lived permanently in the UK for the last 5 years.

The Role:

The successful candidate will play a key role across a number of new and inflight projects, taking ownership of all UX project requirements and leading engagement with our clients. You will work across the full delivery lifecycle from the initial discovery through to delivery & sign-off, responsible for ensuring the quality of the final products meet our clients expectations. Typical responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with new clients at the discovery phase to scope and plan UX related activities
  • Lead on scoping and planning UX project requirements under the review of the team lead
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams (including business analysts, developers and delivery managers) to capture their insights and perspectives to enable the creation of design response to any given task or design challenge.
  • Planning and running user studies such as focus groups and user testing
  • Leading client engagement for specific work concerning UX, including requirements gathering, stakeholder validation & user testing
  • Running effective workshops from initial planning and design, through client engagement and facilitation to results and translating outputs into deliverables that improve the UX of a project

  • Full lifecycle UX Design, UX tools and methodologies
  • A wide range of user research techniques and analysis, e.g. interviews, contextual inquiry, c analysis and mapping customer journey
  • Articulating the strategic context of clients requirements and reconciling user needs with strategic priorities
  • Working in agile environments using methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Close working relationships with clients, able to fully understand what good looks like
