Bradford Teaching Hospitals installs CACI’s InView data warehouse

London, 11th January 2017: CACI and Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust today announce a contract that will see the trust roll out CACI’s integrated data warehouse and analytics service, InView, across its operations. InView will help the trust improve information sharing, internal and external reporting, and data quality.

Bradford, like many other NHS trusts across the country, is under increasing pressure to closely monitor performance across all areas. In response to current structural funding reforms, the Foundation Trust developed an information strategy that would enable it to deliver greater efficiency and quality. Installing InView is a central part of this strategy.

InView allows NHS trusts to collate all clinical and financial information and present it to staff from a single, centralised source. This minimises the time spent on information gathering and reporting, and reduces any errors associated with manually inputting large quantities of data. It also provides clinicians with direct access to a range of KPIs and patient activity data.

Cindy Fedell, Executive Director, Informatics and IT, at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, said:

“CACI’s InView data warehouse and analytics service will let everyone at the trust access real-time data without assistance, as well as allowing us to produce all the internal and external reports we need from one central source. It will make the working day easier for everyone, helping us to improve efficiency and the overall patient experience.

Steve Hulmes, VP of CACIs Business Intelligence Group, said:

“With demands on the NHS increasing year on year, NHS organisations must look to new ways of accurately collecting and efficiently using their data. In partnering with CACI, Bradford Teaching Hospitals will now be able to allocate more resources and time to the areas that need it most and focus on its core activities, rather than on data management.”

CACI has been working with the NHS for more than 15 years and today works with more than half of trusts in the UK.
