ERS bronze award for commitment as a defence employer

MooD Software from CACI shows support for Armed Forces

CACI is proud to announce that the MooD Software business has been recognised with a bronze award by the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS).

ERS is a UK government award programme designed to encourage employers (particularly those in the private sector) to support defence and inspire others to do the same.

As a bronze award-holder, MooD Software is recognised for being armed-forces friendly, with a willingness to employ reservists, veterans, cadet instructors and military spouses and partners.

Beverley Heath, Chief of Staff at CACI’s Information Intelligence Group, says:

“We’re proud to be a forces-friendly employer because we value the transferrable skills that people with a military career background bring to the private sector. The MooD Software team delivers leading specialist solutions to many Defence organisations, so we’re highly aware of the diverse talent and capability in the sector. It’s a privilege to work with people from this background both as clients and colleagues.”

The Armed Forces Covenant shows employers’ support for the armed forces community. MooD software has signed this pledge to be flexible to the unique situations of the wider armed forces community, including spouses, partners, volunteers and reservists. That means ensuring their fair treatment in recruitment processes and in the workplace.

MooD Software provides systems engineering, enterprise and business architecture and software development services to the Ministry of Defence and related government and industry organisations, using the MooD platform and tools.

The team’s experts have in-depth defence domain knowledge, enhanced by the contribution of their talented armed forces community colleagues.
