IMPULSE Specialist support services

IMPULSE’s specialist support services module supports local authorities and student support services in providing specialist equipment and relevant support to students and young people who need them. From establishing diagnoses to mapping outcomes, we support the monitoring, provision and support of disabled children. This module integrates with the SEND and social inclusion modules to provide complete oversight of children with special needs.

Children classified as having SEND requirements may require additional equipment such as a laptop. Furthermore, via the specialist support services module, you can record the specific needs of each child, for example noting if a child is hearing or sight impaired. This helps you to keep detailed and accurate information on each child to best provide support to them throughout their educational journey. By linking with the SEND and social inclusion modules, you can better ensure fair access to educational facilities for every child.
