Solution Sales Consultant

About the Role

The Field Force Planning group is a team made up of a technical support, client services and highly motivated sales team, driven to deliver a robust and practical solution that adds a lot of value to our clients sales teams. There is a lot of opportunity in this space to go after, and we would like to bring in a tenacious new Solutions Sales Consultant and expand the sales team in order to achieve our growth plans. Recent high-profile wins include: a software licence to support Imperial Tobacco, in Serbia and Romania, optimise their sales territories and build drivetime efficient route plans for their sales reps; a software licence for National Lottery Ireland, and contracts to supply consultancy services to help Wrigley, Red Bull and Royal Caribbean Cruises streamline their territories. 

We are looking for a driven salesperson with a proven track record. A strong interest in progressing their careers into join this team as we grow our business and expand into new markets. We are seeking a driven, energetic and consultative sales person with well-developed sales and commercial skills who can work effectively with our pre-sales consultants who are experts in their field. 

The role offers an excellent opportunity to further develop consultancy sales skills in progressive sales driven business. If you’re driven, have excellent communication skills, and would like to join a growing innovative sales team then we want to hear from you.  We’re looking to grow rapidly with three roles open at various levels.
We offer a competitive basic salary and an excellent uncapped commission structure.

• Prospecting & networking to create a pipeline of business 
• Working with our pre-sales consultants to show the benefits of our consultancy and software solutions
• Writing and presenting clearly written, convincing proposals
• Discussing market issues knowledgeably and demonstrating understanding of relevant commercial sectors
• Engaging multiple stakeholders in the sales process

About You
• Self-starter, self-disciplined, results driven and highly energetic
• The ability to source leads and expand the sector through their own efforts
• A ‘hunter’ with a proven ability to proactively generate new business
• A demonstrable track record of high sales performance
• The ability to absorb complex solutions and present them with simplicity; understand technical information and think laterally to deliver a variety of solutions

• Excellent relationship building skills 
• Able to manage and support client organisations at all levels
• A real attention to detail
• A very good communicator, who is outgoing and confident and can be effective in a business meeting with senior people
• UK resident
• Educated to degree level 
• Full driving licence
