Senior Pre- Sales Consultant - Location Analytics


A flair for presenting and strong written skills are a given for this role. You must be of a persuasive nature, in the spoken and written word, and can articulate that in presentations, 'Request For' documents, proposals and technical demonstrations.

We’re actively seeking someone who can bring innovation and creativity to the role. You must be able to discover the client's needs and architect a workable and profitable solution as well as deliver a convincing value proposition. Whilst not expected to directly sell you must understand the nuances of the sales process and be able to work successfully alongside salespeople and analysts alike as part of the project team. The role requires the ability to think on your feet and be intellectually agile and commanding in the presence of C-level executives.

About You
• A degree (2:1 or above)
• Proven experience in a client facing pre-sales role
• Sound IT literacy and hands-on PC experience enabling you to apply this in a business environment ▪ Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Project design, leadership and management skills
• The ability to communicate technical results to non-technical individuals
• Data science, spatial analytics, and customer insight skills
• An understanding and appreciation of retailing and geography
The following skills would be advantageous but not a necessity:
• Pre-sales experience with a consultancy led organisation, selling service-based solutions
• A geography or statistical degree
• working knowledge of GIS, Alteryx, SAS, R and other analytics packages
• A good understanding of statistical quantitative methods
