Security Architect

As a Security Architect you will work within our technical architecture team and provide architecture capabilities for both OFFICAL and SECRET environments. Working closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop secure architectural designs and patterns that can be effectively communicated to and implemented by engineering teams.

The ideal candidate for the Security Architect role will have a broad range of architecture experience, including:

  • Architecting for multiple environments at a range of security classifications.
  • Cloud architecture (AWS/Azure) and infrastructure deployment.
  • Working in an Agile environment using methods such as Scrum and SAFe.
  • Confidence in working with high-level stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive understanding of risks and associated mitigation strategies.
  • Able to produce and interpret threat and vulnerability assessments.
  • Able to undertake structured analysis of complex technical issues.
  • Able to capture technical designs and communicate with development teams.
  • Provide consultation on technical designs and design patterns to clients and engineering teams.
  • Knowledge of security guidance, assessment and accreditation organisations such as OWASP, CIS, and the NCSC.
  • Strong technical background.

  • A good team player.
  • Some experience of the complexities of the Defence and/or Security sector.

All candidates need to be eligible for a full UK SC clearance or higher.
