About the Role

The Field Force Planning group is a highly motivated team that produces excellent results. Recent high-profile wins include: a software licence to support Imperial Tobacco, in Serbia and Romania, optimise their sales territories and build drivetime efficient route plans for their sales reps; a software licence for National Lottery Ireland, and contracts to supply consultancy services to help Wrigley, Red Bull and Royal Caribbean Cruises streamline their territories. 

An opportunity exists for a salesperson with a proven track record to join this team as we grow our business and expand into new markets. We are seeking a driven, energetic and consultative sales person with well-developed sales and commercial skills who can work effectively with our pre-sales consultants who are experts in their field. 

The role offers an excellent opportunity to further develop consultancy sales skills in progressive sales driven business.

• New business development
• Prospecting & networking to create a pipeline of business 
• Working with our pre-sales consultants to show the benefits of our consultancy and software solutions
• Writing and presenting clearly written, convincing proposals
• Discussing market issues knowledgeably and demonstrating understanding of relevant commercial sectors
• Engaging multiple stakeholders in the sales process

About You
• Self-starter, self-disciplined, results driven and highly energetic
• The ability to source leads and expand the sector through their own efforts
• A ‘hunter’ with a proven ability to proactively generate new business
• A demonstrable track record of high sales performance
• The ability to absorb complex solutions and present them with simplicity; understand technical information and think laterally to deliver a variety of solutions

• Excellent relationship building skills 
• Able to manage and support client organisations at all levels
• A real attention to detail
• A very good communicator, who is outgoing and confident and can be effective in a business meeting with senior people

• Educated to degree level

About the Business Division

CACI’s Field Force Planning group works with clients primarily from the FMCG/CPG and Field Marketing sectors around the World. This Sales Consultant role is based in our Birmingham offices.

We are the market leaders in sales force optimisation with clients who include Mondelez, Wrigley, Nestle, Reckitt Benckiser, Reach Contact, Akzo Nobel, CPM, Heineken and Omega Pharmaceuticals. We supply a wide range of software, consultancy and data solutions to support clients in deploying their field based sales and merchandising teams through territory optimisation and route planning.
