Purchasing Coordinator

Purchasing Coordinator - Bracknell, Berkshire - £25,000 plus an excellent benefits package.

Application Services Group, a Division of CACI Ltd and an IT Services Consultancy, is currently seeking to expand the Purchasing Team on site with a major blue-chip corporate client of ours. 

Candidates can come from any Purchasing/Procuement background, as specific IT Purchasing experiecne is not required. 

Duties & responsibilities:

The purpose of the Implementation Purchasing team is to provide a purchasing function for IT users and projects, ensuring hardware,software and services are purchased and delivered at the required times at the best value.  

Job Requirements:

•  Work with the IT Service Managers and IT Service Analyst in the IT Purchasing Team to provide a sourcing, ordering, and acquisition service for all IT hardware, software calibration and professional services required by projects within the IT Business Unit
•  Work closely with suppliers and re-sellers to ensure demand from users is fulfilled in terms of expected times of deliveries
•  Manage stock reports of company-owned IT hardware holdings at suppliers’ locations
•  Provide responses within service level agreements (SLAs) to requests from users for hardware or service requests
•  Manage suppliers’ IT hardware catalogues and IT hardware road-maps
•  Maintain records of purchases of IT software licences
•  Assist with coordination of project roll-outs.

Essential skills:

Expert knowledge of Google Sheets or similar Accounting / Purchasing / Procurement system
•  Ability to communicate to internal customers as well as suppliers at various levels and in various methods
•  Attention to detail, particularly in numeracy and communications
•  Understand and consistently determine when issues should be escalated to a higher level.
