IT Epos Software Support Analyst

IT Epos Software Support Analyst - Bracknell - £40000-50000 plus benefits.

We are currently seeking to hire an IT Epos Software Support Analyst with experience of providing technical support across IT Epos Software systems at 2nd or 3rd line. 

You will join our Epos Retail Systems Operations team and assist in resolving 2nd / 3rd line Epos (Software/Application) technical issues across all UK retail stores.

Mandatory Requirements:

• 1st - 2nd line Epos Software/Application Support

• Good understanding of ServiceNow or similar incident reporting/service management processes

• Strong customer relationship management.

Desirable Recruitments:

• Able to run SQL quires to retrieve specific data to diagnose technical issues being encountered by the Epos system

• Experience of working across different departments

• TIL – Service Management Methodology

• Work with development teams to help with the transition of new releases into support

• Commercial experience of working with 3rd party suppliers

• Understanding of the retail environment and IT process required including Incidents, Problems & Problem Solving, and Change Management required

• Handling daily Incident, Problem and Change management liaising with all levels of stakeholders within the Organisation as well as 3rd party suppliers

• Reviewing and understanding log files - looking for pragmatic fixes and managing fixes as required through 3rd party suppliers

• Plan maintenance work and release planning including technical updates.
