IBM Sterling Order Management System Developer

ABOUT THE ROLE

Application Services Group, a division of CACI Ltd and IBM Business Partner, is looking for an experienced IBM Sterling Order Management System (Sterling OMS) Developer to join our bespoke development services team. Your first project with us will be working on client site with one of the UK's leading retailers.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Experience developing, designing and implementing Sterling Order Management System solutions into existing environments.
• Ability to collaborate with other technical experts and develop design documents to support development for final solutions.
• Configuration/Administrator level knowledge using Sterling OMS components, API's, related interfaces and configuration.
• Writing of product extensions and interfaces to ensure proper functionality and integration with other client systems.
• Design of business workflows to ensure proper application mapping and flow.
• Proven ability to partner with quality assurance teams to develop and execute automated testing scenarios to support end-user and performance-based testing.
• Experience in Java / Java EE and specifically in developing Java based extensions of Sterling OMS.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to partner with stakeholders inside and outside of client IT department, as well as vendors and other external entities.
• Self-starter with strong initiative and time management ability to execute workload to deliver high quality results.

DESIDERABLE SKILLS:

• Experience in Oracle and Middleware technologies.
