We have grown to become the market leaders in sales force optimisation, with an established client base who include Mondelez, Wrigley, Nestle, Reckitt Benckiser, Reach Contact, Akzo Nobel, CPM, Heineken and Omega Pharmaceuticals. We answer real-world business questions, like: “Are the field sales teams the right size?” “How to avoid sales reps spending more time driving and planning than selling?” and “How can the sales teams be fully utilised?” By supplying a wide range of software, consultancy services and data solutions to support clients in deploying their field based sales and merchandising teams through territory optimisation and route planning. The Field Force Planning team are based in Birmingham Business Park.

About the Role

The Field Force Planning group is a team made up of a technical support, client services and highly motivated sales team, driven to deliver a robust and practical solution that adds a lot of value to our client’s sales teams. There is a lot of opportunity in this space, and we would like to bring in a Client Services Administrator to support our high-profile clients such as Imperial Tobacco, National Lottery Ireland, Wrigleys, Red Bull and Royal Caribbean Cruises as we grow. Once established in the role the ideal candidate would be expected to independently run client projects, deliver client training and be responsible for the technical side of account management for a select list of clients.

Primarily this is a role with a lot of room for development. The right candidate will be on a journey to become a successful client facing software consultant with strong analytical, communication, organisation and commercial skills. The role will be challenging while importantly working in a supportive environment. As well as providing an opportunity to attend a series of workshops to support cognitive skills and development whilst increasing your personal impact, writing with impact, presentation skills, networking skills, building resilience, handling difficult situations and generation communication.

Key Requirements

  • Provide first line support to the client base
  • Assist with system builds
  • Understand and develop QA skills to monitor the system by sharing feedback with the Client Services team
  • Assist with non-UK country data processing while being supported by an experienced member of the team
  • Assist with client project delivery with the goal of transitioning to project lead with support from a senior member towards the end of the 6 to 9-month period

About You

  • 2:1 Degree in Geography or GIS.
  • Communication, self-motivation, time management, teamwork, flexibility, familiar with Microsoft Excel
  • Familiar with GIS software
  • Personable, problem solving, diligent
  • The ability to absorb complex solutions and present them with simplicity; understand technical information and think laterally to deliver a variety of solutions
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • A real attention to detail
  • Full driving licence
  • IT Literate (MS Office)
