GeoSpatial Data & GIS Sales Consultant

About the Role

A new position has arisen for an ambitious GeoSpatial Data & GIS Sales Consultant Data Consultant. The Logistics sector is constantly evolving which presents never-ending opportunities to learn and bring expertise to help our clients. You will be expected to develop a pipeline of sales activities for our worldwide mapping and data portfolio and Geoconcept and Geoxploit suite of GIS products.
This role is based at our Kensington and our Brentford office.

Key Requirements

Working in a small, professional consultancy team you will be expected to perform the following tasks:

  • Carry out sales activities for our worldwide mapping and data portfolio and Geoconcept and Geoxploit suite of GIS products.
  • Work with CACI’s software solutions, on complex projects and present results in a professional manner
  • Liaise with other senior staff to determine the range of services to be sold, contribute to the development of sales strategies and targets
  • Carry out the implementation of logistics solutions, on-site and remotely
  • Discuss client requirements, analyse client reactions, prepare sales figures, proposals for campaigns
  • Maintain positive relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Manage customer accounts
  • Keep up to date with market, technology, products and competitors
  • Maintain detailed, accurate records in customer and prospect contact management database (CRM) and reporting to management as required
  • Maintain existing and new customers account support
  • Reduce cost of sales by considering ad-hoc pricing, samples, pre-sales consultancy etc
  • Contribute to team product development sessions

You should have a degree in Geography or Geographical Information Systems and be a fluent user in Geoconcept, our GIS tool. Additionally, you must be able to show proven experience in training GIS users in a system and demonstrate an indepth knowledge of Digital GeoSpatial Data and how it brings business benefit to users, particularly within the Asian markets.
