The Data Planning & Insight Consultant role sits within CACI’s ‘Integrated Marketing Group’, which is a team of 150 people. The group’s purpose is to do amazing things with data, helping client organisations create connected customer experiences. About the Business Division

CACI has an opportunity in the Data Insight and Visualisation team who are responsible for transforming analysis created by our Data Science team into visually engaging and actionable insights. These outputs are created for clients across multiple sectors and industries to improve business and marketing performance. This is a varied role in a high-performing and high-profile team that plays a crucial role in delivering on CACI’s mission of ‘doing amazing things with data’ by helping the brands we work with turn data and analysis into actionable insight.

About the Role

As part of this team you will be responsible for leading and developing a range of projects and deliverables including; audience insight through pen portrait and persona creation, new proposition development, pitching for new business, KPI and reporting dashboard creation and delivery.

The candidate must have proven experience in client management, understanding of the use of data to improve marketing communications and business performance, problem solving, leading and delivering projects from inception to completion, knowledge of statistical targeting techniques to support marketing applications, managing virtual project teams and delivering to client briefs and budgets.

About You

The ideal candidate, as well as being a highly motivated self-starter, will have the following skills:

  • Excellent written/verbal English
  • Good inter-personal skills and the ability to communicate technical results to non-technical individuals
  • Strong analytical and numerical ability – able to analyse and interpret data, evaluate data and make recommendations based on data and market trends
  • Proven experience of turning data and analysis into actionable insight
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to create visually engaging presentations
  • Proven experience in presenting reports and creating structured recommendations
  • Proven experience of presenting to senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrable experience of using data to drive marketing or business decision making to improve commercial performance
  • The ability to draw on industry experience to contribute thought leadership and product development
  • Good/ Advanced usage of Excel
  • Advanced usage of Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Proficient and demonstrable of a BI dashboard tool such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Structured, analytical approach to problem-solving and a high attention to detail
  • Non-essential but nice to have experience in the following tools:
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Adobe After Effects
  • Video production software, such as Lumens5
