For new retail operations with drive time based catchment areas CACI's Market Scan product creates a ranked list of locations according to customer or product potential. Market Scan is ideal in creating initial network plans for new out of town operations.
Market Scan looks at the whole country and reports on, say, a 15 minutes drive time for each postal sector (or other start point) around the country. An iterative approach is also available to remove the catchment for the top location and then find the next best location and so on until the required number of locations is identified.
