Fresco is a financial services segmentation that groups the entire UK adult population into 10 segments, 30 sub-segments and 81 micro segments.

Specific to the financial services industry, at the heart of Fresco is the Financial Services Research Survey. Run by GfK NOP, the FRS survey is the longest running and most detailed survey of its kind - interviewing over 60,000 people per year and collecting over 1,000 pieces of information per person.

The sheer scale and depth of the survey means that it is an essential tool in keeping pace with consumers' financial behaviour, attitudes and preferences. Unsurprisingly it is used by 80% of UK major financial organisations and is considered to be the currency of the financial services industry.
