eTypes has recently been updated using extensive new research combined with CACI's Ocean database. It classifies the UK consumer at an individual level, based on their sophistication and use of the Internet and technology, how much they spend online and by their age.
Consumers are classified into 8 Groups, denoting lifestage and Internet usage levels and 28 Types, which detail online behaviour.
