The Role

We require a strategic thinker, yet hands-on Senior Marketing Manager for the in-house marketing team to support the IMS division, which comprises of several solution areas across 4 internal business units;

  • Business Intelligence & Data Management
  • Resource Planning & Case Management
  • Digital Services (web app development & cloud)
  • Network Consulting and Managed Services.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to build on their existing expertise with the ambition of creating and delivering bigger, bolder and better strategy and campaigns which engage and inspire our prospective clients. The candidate will lead marketing for the IMS division and focus on driving sustainable and profitable growth through campaigns and defining the CACI brand across multiple markets.To deliver against this ambition, the role requires a person who can act with integrity, work collaboratively and reimagine the possible. This role will report directly to the Head of Marketing and will be based in our London Kensington office, however travel once a month to other offices, including Manchester, Southwark and Hampton will be required.

 

The ideal candidate

The successful candidate for this role will be degree educated and preferably hold a CIM qualification. They will have worked within a B2B environment, business services and ideally within the IT sector. They will have proven campaign planning, strategy, project management and budget control experience. Excellent inter-personal skills are a must to build successful working relations with key internal stakeholders and clients. The candidate needs to demonstrate strong influencing skills, inspiring leadership, and have a proven track record of working within complex stakeholder networks having demonstrated the ability to bring people along with them. The candidate must also have strong analytical ability, and experience of capturing, analysing and developing recommendations based upon complex ROI data sets - excellent project management skills are also key. The role will require somebody to be confident with strategy development, audience segmentation, customer journey mapping, content creation and management, analytics and ROI measurement. A strong aptitude for digital marketing and the experience of using this creatively, would be a distinct advantage.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Develop marketing strategy/ies directly aligned to the firm’s strategic growth priorities.
  • Develop and drive annual marketing plans for 4 sub divisions within the IMS business unit, working to budget.
  • Identify and evaluate target markets and develop effective strategies to communicate to them.
  • Drive brand awareness through various marketing channels, in particular thought-leadership content.
  • Create, deliver and evaluate commercially focused online & offline marketing campaigns aligned to the strategic growth priorities of each sub-division.
  • Work in an agile and flexible way across campaigns and programmes to ensure that business units are continually focused on creating the most value for CACI clients and prospective clients.
  • Develop lead generation campaigns for IMS and work with the sales teams to ensure lead monitoring and CRM systems are accurate.
  • Monitor and evaluate ROI of activity and report back to the business monthly.
  • Work with the wider marketing team, to help ensure companies acquired by CACI are successfully integrated into the CACI brand.
  • Communicate campaign development and success appropriately with key stakeholders in IMS.
  • Work with the strategic account teams to make sure we are targeting the right people at the right accounts and that all marketing activity is aligned to potential commercial outcomes
  • Support other BU Marketing Managers in capturing best practice and learning insights from campaign activity that can then be shared through the capability line.
  • Work with channel partners to define and execute joint campaigns including securing and management of funding and reporting back to both businesses on ROI.

 

Core skills, knowledge and experience required:

  • 5 years+ marketing experience - all candidates who may not have 5+ years’ experience but can demonstrate the necessary skills may apply and will be considered
  • Proven experience within B2B markets
  • Knowledge of a wide range of on and offline marketing techniques and concepts, and of marketing tools i.e. CRM, CMS and e-marketing systems
  • Budget management skills
  • Demonstrable influencing and negotiating skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
