Effectively focussing public service resources on community needs.
There is an increasing recognition that the target marketing techniques pioneered by CACI have an important role in the effective delivery of public services. CACI brings innovative community insights through data about people and places delivered using our consultancy and software. We help you to ensure decisions are made on a sound evidence base.
Policy Areas
Policy makers and operational teams work with CACI to address the needs of individual communities, based upon a detailed understanding of each neighbourhood. We underpin an organisation's understanding of neighbourhoods and have developed software tools to manage, analyse and communicate with target groups.
Health
CACI is working with health specialists to identify those types most at risk from specific conditions. This analysis allows managers to quantify demand for services and to inform these at-risk groups with relevant and targeted health advice. Our HealthACORN classification is key to this approach.
Crime and safety
Police forces and Crime & Disorder Reduction Partnerships are tackling crime, anti-social behaviour and the fear of crime within distinct neighbourhoods using CACI's ACORN dataset.
Our neighbourhood spatial analysis tool, InSite, is delivering this knowledge to front-line teams developing effective intervention strategies.
Education
CACI is working with bodies such as the National Consortium for Examination Results to better inform schools of the likely challenges they will face with each intake, based upon the characteristics of the pupils
Housing
For many years the datasets innovated by CACI, including our PayCheck (household income) and StreetValue (house price), have been instrumental in the way housing specialists look at housing affordability within local markets. The DCLG (the Department for Communities and Local Government) has recently highlighted the valuable role PayCheck plays in Housing Market Assessments.
Regeneration
With the growth of out-of-town and online retailing, shopping centres face a challenging future. CACI has the leading team of retail spatial analysts in the country. CACI's methodology eschews the inflexible research-driven approaches typically employed in similar studies, in favour of detailed scenario studies and rigorous commercial reasoning.
Consultancy
CACI has in recent years undertaken a diverse range of consultancy projects, including forecasting shopper expenditure, identifying changes in communities, measuring housing affordability and evaluating competition between supermarkets.
