Targeting Europe's consumers.
Designed to assist local market planning, EuroACORN can be used to assess the purchasing and lifestyle characteristics of local areas across Europe.
EuroACORN works on the principle that cities, towns and rural areas across Europe share some common patterns in the mix of residents in distinct neighbourhoods. In terms of lifestyle and purchasing power, each EuroACORN type will display strong similarities irrespective of the country in which it is found.
The system classifies 700,000 small areas from 22 countries across Europe. EuroACORN identifies 15 types of area, which fall into five groups.
