Centre Futures reports on the catchment areas of Retail Footprint centres following expected development schemes. It gives retailers and property owners the ability to review their portfolio and divest from centres where a catchment decline can be expected.

What happens next?

The complexity of retail centre hierarchies means that a new development can a have a range of impacts on competing centres. CACI's monitoring of retail developments ensures that property owners and occupiers can be aware of changes in shopping patterns before they happen.

We are able to identify centres facing decline and the extent of that decline over the next few years. As a result new store acquisition can be made on the basis of current trading patterns and trading scenarios that take account of the development pipeline.
