3rd July 2012, London - New software could halve the cost involved in transporting, storing, testing and replacing backup systems for disaster recovery, as part of a system for backing up critical IT systems through cloud computing.

CACI, a leading supplier of IT software and consultancy services, has become the first UK appzero partner, providing accreditation to deliver cloud migration services that slash the time, labour and costs associated with transferring production applications to any cloud.

For IT professionals, the service will remove the time-consuming exercise of backing up systems by tape or CD for traditional disaster recovery systems. Meanwhile, for companies already using cloud backup, it means a much more effective way to synchronise primary and backup systems at regular intervals.
