11th June 2012, London - Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Trust has procured the QlikView Business Discovery Platform, to be implemented with the support of IT specialists CACI.

The interactive QlikView dashboards will be used to monitor performance against the trust's strategic objectives and a number of core performance frameworks covering quality, HR, finance and clinical effectiveness.

200 users across the trust, including the executive board and heads of front line service delivery, will have direct access to performance information for individual service, clinical network and divisional contribution to organisational strategies, standards and obligations.

Commenting on the project, Carl Powner, Programme Lead at Bridgewater Community Healthcare Trust said:

"The power of QlikView is that we can provide anyone in the trust with access to information about key performance indicators that relate to their role and their clinical service line. By opening up information access and, in effect devolving decision-making, we're far more likely to achieve the level of clinical engagement we need to encourage innovation and embrace new ideas to deliver improvements in patient care."
