CACI helps Cardiff & Vale University Health Board Win Prestigious Costing Award

The Award was won based on the Health Boards implementation of patient level costing, supported by CACI's costing software, Synergy

22nd December 2011 - CACI today announces that Cardiff and Vale University Health Board has won the inaugural HFMA Costing Award, which was presented as part of the 2011 HFMA Awards programme and announced at this year's annual conference in London.

The award was made for the improvement that the Health Board has made to costing processes and information, which has resulted in better financial and clinical decision-making.

Cardiff and Vale have been using CACI's Synergy Costing software for more than 2 years, which alongside developing patient level costing information and methodologies, has played a major role in their ability to improve costing practices.
