CACI extends BI offering with the acquisition of Infoflow report distribution software.
Infoflow will offer organisations using Business Intelligence (BI) software a cost-effective alternative to report distribution, making information sharing to thousands a realistic and cost-effective option.
26.07.10 - CACI Ltd, a leading provider of information systems and marketing solutions in the UK, today announces the acquisition of Infoflow Ltd's information distribution technology, Infoflow.
As an asset purchase, CACI now owns the technology rights for the Infoflow product, customers and staff. The company Infoflow Ltd will no longer trade.
Infoflow is a portal based software application that provides automated functionality for creating and distributing consolidated views of BI reports.
The software is ideal for organisations who need to provide a large number of employees with reports and other management information, but who do not have the time and financial resources to train those users in BI technology or purchase large numbers of software licenses.
The software acquisition enables CACI to offer a complete BI portfolio, spanning ETL, data warehousing, web reporting, dashboards and now powerful report distribution.
Greg Bradford, Chief Executive of CACI, commented:
"I am delighted that we have added this technology to our Business Intelligence portfolio of solutions and services. The cost savings that our clients and other large scale users of business intelligence software can make from this technology cannot be underestimated, particularly in these challenging times."

About the Infoflow technology
Infoflow is a software application that provides automated functionality for creating and consolidating views of reports. The reports can be from any data source and can be distributed and shared easily and cost-effectively. Infoflow delivers output from business intelligence reports to a wider user-base, thus addressing the pain-point of delivering BI to the masses by significantly reducing costs and training requirements.
