17.12.09. Following a rigorous evaluation and selection process, it was announced today that IT Solutions specialist CACI has been awarded a framework agreement to provide Software Applications.

Under the Agreement, CACI will play a key role in helping the public sector to buy Software Applications that offer value for money and comply with statutory and legislative requirements. CACI will be able to supply Software Applications in two Lots: Bespoke Applications Development (Lot 1) and Information Management Applications (Lot 5).

Under the agreement CACI will be accredited to supply these applications to UK Public Services for up to four years and is expected to strengthen its position in these markets, from which it already generates 80% of its business.

Jeet Khaira, Managing Director of CACI's Information Systems division, commented:

"I am thrilled that CACI has been awarded another two Lots on the Buying Solutions framework agreement. This gives us a great opportunity to assist new and existing public services customers with a much broader range of applications and associated services, especially in areas such as online transactional processing, mobile working, systems integration, data warehousing and business intelligence."

The win follows a lengthy tender exercise and builds on CACI's previous success in winning four Lots in the ICT Consultancy and Delivery Services framework announced in July.
