Further expansion for CACI places them as No.1 provider of Service Line Reporting and Patient Level Costing solutions to the NHS

CACI acquire Activity Based Costing software from B-Plan Information Systems Ltd

30.03.09. CACI Ltd, a leading provider of information systems and marketing solutions in the UK, today announces the acquisition of B-Plan's Activity Based Costing business, which will include all software products, client contracts, staff and other assets.

The particular software products acquired include Synergy, the Rosetta suite, Precision+, Salient and the 'ABC' portfolio of Activity Based Costing products. These software products will now be offered as part of CACI's existing IT solutions portfolio to deliver fully integrated service line reporting, financial, management and performance information systems.

The software acquisition places CACI as the number-one provider of Activity Based Costing solutions to the public sector and in particular the NHS. 169 NHS Trusts currently use B-Plan's Activity Based Costing software.

Greg Bradford, Chief Executive of CACI, commented:

"Acquiring B-Plan's costing and planning business is a strategic move for CACI. By complementing our existing portfolio of data integration, reporting and performance management solutions, Activity Based costing will enable us to offer fully integrated enterprise information and financial management solutions and in particular meet the service line reporting and patient level costing requirements of the NHS."

Dmitry Dorsky, VP of Operations at B-Plan, added,

"These are exciting times for me, my team and our customers and I'm delighted that we will now be part of CACI. The transition will bring about greater investment in service and product development, a more structured approach to project management and system implementation, and greater market stability, particularly in our rapid growth areas such as Patient Level Costing and Service Line Reporting. This really is a very positive move for us."
